And by hot I mean, incredibly, disgustingly, 100 degrees plus, I’ll give you two minutes in the sun and bet you start sweating, HOT.

So what are we all to do? Beat the heat with a Frozen Hot Chocolate, of course! Yes, we take the deliciousness found in the traditional hot chocolate and put it into a cool frappuccino. Top it with some cool whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate and wa-la, you have the best post sled riding drink available in summer form.

First up on the blog  is a review of none other than the Wurtle, born and breed in Winans tradition. Of all the suggstions that came in through our Facebook page, it only felt right to speak on a classic first.

The Winans Wurtle is similar to the well-known turtle, but better. They  are a delicious combination of our buttery, chewy caramel nut patties covered in milk or dark chocolate.  And just to mix things up, Wurtles are available in almond, cashew and pecan.

What a first day! I can honestly say that I ended the evening feeling so appreciative. We had so much support from our friends, family, Winans lovers, and now German Village. The community seems to have welcomed us with open arms and we can’t say thank you enough. Looking forward to many mornings of eye-opening brews and evenings with declicious chocolates.
